Making a commitment to helping others has always been our foundation of success at Time For Wine. Offering wine tasting fundraisers is one of the things we do best!
There are many wonderful nonprofit organizations and civic groups in our Tampa Bay area that we love to support. Time For Wine has been supportive of Kiwanis, Rotary Club, the National Federation for the Blind, as well as many church groups and local chambers. Most importantly, we have made a commitment to Sunrise of Pasco County Domestic & Sexual Violence Center for the past 14 years.

GIVE DAY TAMPA BAY 2017
May 2, 2017 was another Give Day Tampa Bay, the annual day to donate to local Tampa Bay non-profits and causes. Sunrise of Pasco County made arrangements for our Annual Wine Tasting fundraiser at a local County Commissioner home in Dade City. The staff and board members did a remarkable job in selling tickets and we had over 100 guests in attendance!
We opened a wide variety of wines from our German Michael Shafer, to a delicious Orvieto, to a Sparkling Brut Rose. We popped the cork on a variety of red wines, including Malbec, Valpolicella, Tannat, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The red was flowing!
The tasting event featured some local celebrity pourers, including Brian Corley and Dr. Paula O’Neil. These esteemed guests greeted our guests and shared our delicious wines. To end the evening, we held a “Silent Auction,” featuring our own donated auction items such as wine gift baskets, along with delicious foods and goodies. We are grateful to be involved and provide our services, gift certificates and a donated percentage back from sales to Sunrise of Pasco County.
Giving back and helping others in our community is important. The generous support of the guests of these fundraising events and monthly donors help Sunrise achieve their goal in providing a safe place for women and children in need. It is with these funds that they are able to begin a new journey, free of abuse and isolation. We are grateful to give back to this organization so that they may continue to help women achieve safety, confidence and courage to move forward.
Today, the new Executive Director, Kelly Sinn, along with the Director of Marketing, Vicki Wiggins, make sure that services like counseling, shelter, and education are available to prevent and fight domestic violence against women in Pasco County.
